North Ayrshire Council made the application to the ERDF, acted as administrator for the project and is one of the project's strategic and funding partners.

Scottish Enterprise (Ayrshire) is a strategic and funding partner.

Royal Yachting Association chose Largs as the home for the SSI and influenced class associations to choose Largs as a racing venue.

Largs Sailing Club provides office space for the SSI, volunteers for events support and provides in-kind assistance such as recreation and hospitality space, catering, equipment, etc.

Largs Yacht Haven provides the venue site and in-kind support through staff, equipment, etc.

SportsScotland National Centre Inverclyde and National Watersports Centre Cumbrae provide in-kind support in the form of expertise, personnel, funding, equipment, accommodation, hospitality, training and safety issues.
